Like all cities in Florida, Fort Lauderdale offers an extremely rich nightlife experience, and it is often debatable whether the city is comes alive during the daytime or during the night. The city has well over 120 night-clubs and 4100 restaurants, all within an area of 93.2 square kilometers, and catering for the whole range of budgets and tastes. These in addition to a wide array of movie theaters, restaurants, pubs and other night spots.

For the music lovers, a good place to catch the action is at the ‘Club Revolution’ located at 200 West Broward Boulevard. You can get a live music performance at Coco Locos, located at 2275 West SR Marina Mile Right. There is also the enchanting O’Hara’s Music café at 722 Las Olas Boulevard, where you get a rocking mix of food and music, among many other venues.

If you are a big screen fan, you can watch movies in Fort Lauderdale at the Cinema Paradiso, located at 503 South East 6th Street, or the Autonation IMAX theater at 401 South West Street, among many others. If you prefer a drive-in movie theater, then try the Swap Shop Drive-In at 3291 West Sunrise Drive.

You can get a taste of Fort Lauderdale theater scene at the City Theater, located at 12233 South West 55th Street number 807, or the Performance Home Theater located at 520 South East 5th Avenue, among many others. If you came with your young ones, you will consider introducing them to the theater at the Fort Lauderdale Children Theater, located at 516 North East 13th Avenue.

If you prefer the pubs for your night raves, then you will do well to consider a visit to Christie’s Pub Inc at 1829 South University Drive. You can ‘eat and drink’ at the appropriately called Jeanie’s Pub and Grub at 5219 West Broward Boulevard, or visit the ‘Kings Head Pub and Restaurant’ at 2692 North University Drive number 13 Sunrise, and see if they keep the King’s head there or what. Another oddly name Pub you might consider exploring is the ‘Frog and Toad’ Pub at 5782 North West 9th Avenue.
