I'm 24, looking for a apartment somewhere... I'm in N.miami beach right now and I'd like to go somewhere with less guettho people and a more active city. I don't have a car so I can't look around very much. I've been in South miami beach a week end and I love the beach. How is the beach in Fort lauderdale? Is it crowded too in the summer? I'm just looking for a fun, nice city to walk around without being too scared, with young people and nice beaches. So Miami or fort lauderdale?

Me and some buddys are going down to there for spring break next week and were curious.

I'm having a really hard time with finding a cheaper flight from Fort Lauderdale to LAX or San Francisco for our Summer vacation. It's hard to find anything below $800 for 2 adults. Is anyone having a sale? How have you found a good price for this route before? Thanks for any help you can give.

We are driving from Miami to Fort Lauderdale. Approximately how much would it cost for us to take a taxi? I would rather not rent a car because we are going on a excursion to the Bahama's for the day and will be drinking. Are there any other transportation options?

Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield beach are 3 places i must see! I've found 2 great shopping malls (sawgrass & dolphin mall) that i just have to go to! And ive found a tour that takes you to see all big homes in miami. Tips on more stuff to see and do or maybe even places to stop on the way to Deerfield beach.

Just wondering if anyone has ever lived in both cities and wanted to see the comparison.

My hubby and I are going on a cruise on March 13th, we live in Virginia. The flights to Miami are extremly high so my question is would it be a good decision to fly to fort lauderdale and have the cruise line come get us from ft lauderdale? How are is ft lauderdale from the Miami port? Could we get a cab for a reasonble price or all in all should we just bite the bullet and flight to Miami? Any suggestions on cheap flights?
